Here I am saying 'thank you' to Ronald McDonald for visiting our school on Tuesday to teach us about Road Safety.  I felt proud of myself.

I am learning to identify and make compound words.

I will know I can do this when I can find and match two words to make a compound word.

"I can find lots of compound words.  I can find them on the iPad and in my books.  I can also find them when I read the big book.  Sometimes it is tricky to know if the word is right or not.  My teacher can help me."

I am learning how to write more than one idea with details related to the topic.

We have been curious about our classroom frog and decided to find out a bit more about him.  We have created word clouds to show some of the things we have learned.

I like doing fractions on kidpix.  I like drawing 1/2 on the shapes.  I can draw 1/4 on the shapes too but sometimes it's a little bit tricky.

Swimming Term 1

This term  we are learning to be safe around the water.

I am practising getting in and out of the pool safely, float on my back,  use a noodle and a flutter-board correctly and hold my breath underwater.

I liked playing this game on the iPad.  Daniel was my partner.

Sometimes it is tricky to remember the numbers and I keep forgetting.

Next time I can write the number down to remember it.

Soccer Skills Workshop Term 1

At Soccer we played lots of games.

We played Cat and Mouse.

It was fun.

We even played an animal game.
